PROMOTION

In the kingdom, wisdom is the basis for promotion. When an opportunity presents itself, God looks for a way to honor His children and to promote them. As much as he loves everyone unconditionally, without a doubt, we should not expect that we will all receive the same amount of favor from our Heavenly Father. We can truly say that the amount of favor we receive in our lives is determined by the way we treat the love we have received and by the actions we take with it. The more faithful we are with the use of what we have, the greater the favor we will gain.

There is a saying that wisdom holds more value than gold and silver. If I pursued wisdom to the point that it actually cost me something to do so, then I would know I actually believed that. Rather than merely stating an inspirational statement, it’s more like a value that shapes the course of one’s life. God extends His scepter of favor to a person when wisdom is valued the way He intended and when it is valued in the way He intended.

There is no greater treasure than wisdom, since it attracts divine favor, which has greater value than anything else.

    Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Cherish her, and she will exalt you;
