No Conviction, No Counsel

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

As a Christian, I make the choice to walk away from toxic people so I can seek God first in my life. Having an offenseless life is an important part of having a positive outlook on life. Rather than worry about being drained or disturbed, I live to be drained and disturbed in kingdom work. Unfruitful work is something I don’t want to do.

The idea of planting flowers on stone doesn’t appeal to me. My mind is set on going to the fields that God has prepared.

“No conviction; no counsel.”

I never waste my time if I do not believe there is spiritual conviction there/if I do not believe the heart is prepared.

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
2 Timothy 2:2
